This interview really resonates with me. I feel Fat Joe when he expressed what going down that dark rabbit hole felt like after unexpectedly losing 3 ppl he loved so much. In 2019, I lost 2 people who I loved and were extremely important to me. Both gone within months of eachother. I went to dark place, drank heavily for months, couldn't focus or see past the pain. I ended up losing a lot of time I can't get back, and causing damage to relationships that I shouldn't have, and lost myself. I never sought counseling, I ultimately picked myself up after facing hard facts about who I was becoming and where I was going. Life must move on, and your loved ones would not want you to suffer when no matter how much pain you feel, it won't bring them back. My heart goes out to anyone who is or will experience the loss of a loved one, the pain never goes away, but it does become manageable. This was a great interview. Thank you!

Never knew this about Fat Joe. He seems to be on a mental wellness/therapeutic journey and I'm glad he's opening up about it. I would love for him to spit about this kind of stuff in his music. There are a lot of grown ass men that still haven't confronted their issues and/or processed things so they can heal properly.
