@@SharonBrown-yn6fzYou had a liked comment until you said “there’s good in any race”. I don’t care about THEIR good, I care about OUR good. This type of decision made “under pressure”, isn’t about character! It’s about presence of mind, and the ability to execute. Character is more along the lines of honesty, integrity, kindness, etc. I’m sure you were speaking to his ability to thoroughly respond under pressure.
@MsResa1234568 ай бұрын
@@donnaanderson2846 I typed exactly what I meant. Just repeating a quote made by George S. Patton Jr. True character is revealed in the choices a human being makes under pressure - the greater the pressure, the deeper the revelation, the truer the choice to the character's essential nature. Also Winston Churchill “You can measure a man’s character by the choices he makes under pressure.”

What an amazing young man...heroes come in all ages, shapes, no capes necessary. When I was 10 yrs old, I saved my 3 youngest siblings, the youngest was 1 and half, from our burning family home. This happened in 1970, in a village, no electricity. I didn't think anything of it, I just woke them and did all I could to save all four of us. It dawned on me next morning, we could all have died, that's when I just cried. I missed school that Monday and when I was back in school, all my friends and teachers hailed me a hero. I said I did what what anyone else would have done. I'm now 65 and it's still one of the greatest things I've done in my life.
