1.) I think a big part of the problem is that men have, what some might be considered, controversial opinions about a lot of subjects and many don't know how to handle a conversation like that and are afraid of men rather than stepping into that challenge. 2.) We don't emphasize men's mental health as much as women's because we recognize their are a lot of barriers for women and cater more to their needs. 3.) Men edit themselves around others, especially around women more, because it seems like their are more consequences for our actions and words and since men do starve for social interaction for fear of losing what little they actually can get and they won't be their full authentic self.
