When I was a kid, my grandfather’s job would give bus rides to Yankee and Shea stadium, one season we arrived early and the kids were allowed to go on the field and watch the warm ups. Reggie would always stop and say hello and sign autographs. Such a wonderful guy, when he left NYC and went to LA the candy company went out of business.

I became a Yankee fan because of Mr. Jackson. Still am even though I am a Texan. Go Reggie. You can tell the intelligence this man possess ALONG with his athletic prowess!!! Great segment.

Reggie meant the world to us in Baseball ⚾️ ❤ I watched him play with my favorite team the NY Yankees, I’m from NY and Mr. October was phenomenal!!✨✨✨ I always loved how he stood up for the truth , and his truth!! I also admired how Mr Reggie did not back down!! Reggie Jackson is a legend!!👑⚾️✨✨

In the 1977 World Series game 6 he had 3 consecutive homers. Each one off a different pitcher. Each one was the first pitch of the at bat. And each one was a different kind of pitch. And each homer landed in a different part of the ball park.

Legend. He had his faults, but he had a presence when he was at the plate like no one else. I saw him play when he was with the A's in the 70's and later when he was with the Angels.
