Love Kearra and Karen's music. Karen was one of my favorite singers as a kid. My mom would play 'There is a Balm in Gilead"..It took me years to understand it. As a kid I was like what does a bomb in Gilead mean?, lol. I remember the day it hit my spirit and I understood the words for the 1st time, "There is a Balm in Gilead, Jesus He's a healer!" Till this day, that song will spring up in my spirit, and I find myself singing it.

The reason it WILL happen is because unlike Karen, Kierra had and has the pleasure of being able to study not only her mother but also her aunts AND cousins (Bill and J Moss). Karen didn't have that when the Clark Sisters became a group, she looked to Twinkie and Aretha. Kierras melismas, intonation and her ability to drive a song with intensity is on par with Karen. And again, your analogy is WRONG. Kierra has been singing practically her entire life.....Bobbi Kristina started singing a few years before her death....not a great analogy at all
