Tamsui (pronounced 'Dan-shway') is located north of Taipei City. It is accessible via the MRT system and is about a 40 minute ride from Taipei Main Station. It is very popular on the weekends. There are lots of food stands, and relaxing views along the coast. Definitely check it out (most do)...
