Some of it is down to the way that we play but most of it is down to the fact that the players do not for the most part demonstrate the basic football skills. Yes, the manager could be more pragmatic sometimes but that is not the main issue. The passing is too slow and inaccurate, the cross is poor, the shoot does not hit the target often enough, we are too often second to the ball, shall I go on?

How many times do you see England in international games struggle to play against part timers. This isn’t a rareity, it happens . This was Tamworth’s biggest game of their history and they played like it. They also didn’t score a goal and we got 3 , that’s what the record books show. Now we move.

How or why did Spurs pay £52m for Johnson? Struggles against a non-league team. Never runs at opponents. Mickey Moore should be ahead of him next season, easily.
