She is a beautiful dancer! Definite potential for a finalist if she did a full season, which I hope she does.

Nikita, one of my favorite dancers!!! Stunning ❤❤

First of all, Tazmin looks absolutely stunning in that white gown. Second of all, even though her and Nikita’s routine did lean more towards a show dance than a Viennese waltz, it was gracefully, the lifts were executed beautifully, and she was able to keep a decent frame. I will give her a 9.

Let me be the first to compliment Hayley on her rendition of this song. She can knock it out of the park, whatever genre she's given to sing.

Craig was right, her arms were amazing, we see people in week 10 who's arms are sloppy compared to this and beautiful choreography from Nikita. 8/10

Next is Tamzin Outhwaite and Nitkita Kuzmin. Technically this dance was a bit flippy floppy but a sweet and enjoyable watch of this pairing, well done to Tamzin Outhwaite & Nikita Kuzmin.
Love the music, reminds me of Tommy's How they Rule Ya.

She has bucket loads of potential. Could be Denise Van Outen v2.0, just a shame about the stumble steps after the pivot at around 0:58 - 1:01

Hallelujah was not written by KD Lang. It was written by Leonard Cohen. KD Lang is know for performing it. Do your research properly.

Pretty, but the only actual waltz steps in this routine (and there weren’t many) were fumbled
@MirrigoldКүн бұрын
It'd be a problem if there were any Waltz steps as they were dancing the Viennese version...
@dajtoad1Күн бұрын
@ do you think that a Viennese waltz is somehow not a waltz? The clue is kind of in the title.
@Mirrigold18 сағат бұрын
@@dajtoad1 the beat is completely different, the body movement is completely different, they are two different dances with different requirements, so no, the clue isn't in the title at all.
@dajtoad112 сағат бұрын
@ no. It’s a waltz, just performed differently. The beat is not different - they are both 1,2,3 1,2,3. That’s the nature of a waltz, its defining quality. The biggest difference is speed and rotation (and much less rise and fall). There are “waltz steps” in a slow waltz, and “waltz steps” in a Viennese waltz. When I say she fumbled the waltz steps in a Viennese Waltz, I mean she fumbled the Viennese waltz steps, not slow waltz. Most of what they were doing was not Viennese Waltz - they made it look like one by doing pivots. The only time they did any was at 0:59 for a few seconds (and I really do mean a few - they come out of it after 6 seconds), when you can see her skipping and stumbling This is the Xmas special, and almost all these dances have really poor technique, and lots of faffing (ie steps irrelevant to the dance they are doing). That’s the nature of the Xmas special. They have had almost no time to rehearse. The first week of the main strictly they have already had several weeks of training. Xmas they have several days to put on a performance. All I noticed with this one was how few actual VW steps they even attempted. The dance as a whole was pretty, just not really a VW.

Every time a vienese walz is performed I feel it's dull and without personality. I also don't care for dresses where skirt starts below the bottom. Otherwise a pretty performance and they should be proud.
