Sir I can't tell you the exact words as I am not a test Inspector but the Value is not acceptable,moreover the equipment life is detoriating which needs to replace...

One of the interviewer asked me ,why you consider above 0.5 % is abnormal and below 0.5 % is normal?? Interviewer again asked me, in my opinion above 0.7% is abnormal and below 0.7% is normal?? What is the standard will you follow??

Increase in Tan delta test indicates degree of degradation of insulation and entry of moisture content .It's better to have minimum value but acceptable value is 0 .5% as per standard.Rate of change of Tan delta should also be monitored and it should not be increased by .01% annually. @poojamishra024
