Now there are 3 versions of FM - the original rock version by Cui Jian, the 2018 The Singer version by Hua and this version by TWW. All 3 are so good, I like them all. TWW also does english songs very well. Highly recommend the english song Hey Jude she duet with Wang Feng in the finals of The SInger 2018. Wang Feng was the finalist who invited TWW to be his duet partner. Can you react to their Hey Jude. Thks.

Yes, she is Tan Weiwei singing Fake Monk has been performed by Hua Chenyu, written by Cui Jian who is considered as Godfather of Chinese Rock and Roll. Fake Monk was 1st published in 1989 Cui’s album, expressing the social phenomenon that time after 10 year cultural revolution and just beginning of the economy reform, people were lost in belief.

This song is so adaptable as demonstrated by Hua and TWW. However, got to be top notch versatile singer artistes like them to be able to adapt it into something else as likeable as the original rock version by Cui Jian. It is hard to beat the original rock version by merely doing a cover..

I read somewhere that "She rearranged this song to tell her father in heaven "hey, how you doing? I miss you. I know you are always there for me." I think it is better than her performance of Fake Monk.
