When you mentioned about cables.. man is that a hornet nest waiting to burst. As in home stereo system, there are many supporters that cables of any kind does not ever affect the sound. While on the other side, they say they do - some more than others. I'd be interested in your take on that in later video. I do think cables matter even a small one for iems ✌️ New to your channel and a new subscriber since I like how you explain the way that different tips affect the sound (which is now an accepted fact, unlike cables). What I would love to see is for more popular ear tips to be wrung in, like the SpinFit CP145, SpinFits W1, Dunu tips, Softears UC tips and possibly the Pentaconn PTM01 Coreir. The more the merrier.. I don't see any reviewer doing that. Another suggestion is if you could mention the track you were listening to and which part (big ask I know 😅) when you commented about how the iems&/tips affect the sound/timbre of a particular instrument/vocal. Thank you in advance, much appreciated. I ordered the Tanchjim Zero and at first I thought I made a mistake, since I already have the Salnotes Zero. But thankfully you mentioned its great for vocals and instruments including orchestra, and I was relieved.. Would love to hear the comparison between Tanchjim Zero and One, since I already have the Tanchjim One and find it very fun to listen to. Aside from that I preordered the SimGot EA500LM cause I am really impressed with the SimGot EW200 I bought (needs to burn in to tame the treble - another debatable topic). Since you liked the S12 and I don't have it, it would be an interesting thing to get the EA500LM compared to that.

Thanks for watching! I know exactly what you mean. Part of what makes these things so time consuming is the amount of variance you can have with each set. Tips, amps, music, dacs, style of music etc. unfortunately there’s just too much out there to do it effectively unless you spend dozens of hours per video putting an iems through its paces, only for people to only watch 3 minutes of the video. 😀

@@hackinghifi4247 I’ve got everything but the 400 series. I think it will also fit the 03s, difference is a bigger exit bore but same fit as the 200s, at least my understanding. The 200s are outstanding, once on you cannot budge it, the exit bore of the tip is small. So 400s same nozzle size, tight fit, but larger exit bore. My understanding anyway, but I can’t confirm until I get them. Used the 03s for a drummer last week with the 200s and the Zonie UDC cable and he loved it. Was a little p….d off when I gave him the price as his were $1500. These so called industry standard companies have always from day 1 been ripping off musicians. The Chi Fi world is bringing them down a peg or two. It kills these guys when I let them try something without pricing it( under guise of getting their opinion!) and they like it better than their $1500-$3500 customs!!! I love it, lol!!!!

I was using KZ cable with 7Hz zero it was much comfortable I cut the rectangular corners near the pin of KZ cable and plugged them in It was much better 7Hz zero never felt metallic or Harsh like It's pleasant while clean sounding only bass is lacking I actually liked 7Hz salnotes zero better than any IEM under $50 7Hz zero sounds better than Chu CRA EdX ultra ZSn pro X ZST X ZS10 pro etc 7Hz zero has no peeks at all I only wished 7Hz zero had little +2 +3 db more sub bass And mids could've been bit forward under 2k-4khz frequencies It would have been amazing Probably the best Earphones ever heard Audio Technica M40x definitely sounds better than this M40x has more body same clarity But it's way expensive

If you just used the stock tips you may want to try the spinfit cp100 plus. For me they give me a touch more bass and reduce the mid highs a touch which works really well for my ears. Your ears may be different though so results vary. But they’re very comfortable as well.

tamchjim zero vs moondrop chu, which one would you recommend for female vocals? i want to have a detailed mids. Thanks
@hackinghifi4247 Жыл бұрын
I’d use the tanchjim before the chu for vocals but the 7hz zero is very good for that too!

I'm curious about iems so I tried sadnotes zero, my impression was sounds like 20$ but I'm not surprised because I already have soundpeats H1, believe it or not even tws still experienced lossless from apple Build quality: no complain about comfort, cable a little bit short, decent isolation, eartips are hard to insert, detachable cable Sound quality: piercing if you don't have a dongle, if you're a Samsung, no need for a dongle, avani dongle In short, I didn't like his sounds, so we swapped with my sister, Marshall mode wired sound is 10/10 hahaha

Thanks for the feedback! I had to use alternative tips but liked them after that. They can be a little piercing though.
