I think tang pins offer more control in my opinion it doesn’t make sense but i feel a slight difference

I cant decide between squiddy b, blemished polaris for 60$, Bionic osi for 55$, or a vulp. which one should i get? or if you have any other recommendations under 70$ plz tell me

If this is your first balisong I would recommend something metal unless you plan to travel or flip in public a lot. I would generally recommend that you buy the one that you like the look of the best. If you like the look of your bali you are way more likely to flip and practice. I would also suggest going to the Nabalis website and taking a look around. Anything from them is going to be good so if you see one you like there is nothing wrong with buying it!

I had a squiddy but lost it now I have a cheap 5$ amazon bali and a balishark tripletail that is really chunky and i dont like

Well I would personally not recommend the squiddy b. I have no experience with the Polaris or Bionic but my earlier point still stands. I would buy the one that you like the look of the most

@@Chef_Benny11 polaris 100% or bionic osi, I have 2 polaris and 1 bionic and both are very very nice, except my bionic zen pin backed out so i had to loctite it back in so i recommend the polaris

I wouldn’t look into those too much. So far there hasn’t been a single one that doesn’t develop handle slap or at least significant loss in the handle gap. That being said I will probably still get a nabalis canyon

Based on the trainer you selected from Amazon I would recommend getting something else. The full steel balisong is not going to flip as well as you would want it to. If you have to get something off of Amazon because that is all that is available then I would suggest looking at the Nabalis Vulp or anything else they have to offer. It ultimately comes down to what you like the look of the most and what is in your price range.

The info about Tang pins loosing handle gap is not accurate, or at least not complete. most Tang pin balis are Ti handles and they hold handle gap far far far more then zen pins.

Thanks for the info! I have mostly only seen tang pins implemented on steel handle balis like you find on amazon but don’t have any experience with ti balis so that is probably why.

I highly disagree. If you have steel pins and a steel blade you’re not gonna have any plastic deformation. However same issue found with pins-less designs such as the monarch one softer or weaker metal contacting steel the weaker metal will experience plastic deformation and your handles will close in on eachother, just my experience and a few people I’ve talked too tho
