This description is entirely incorrect - Tang turned senior in 2019 when the Chinese team finished fourth in the team competition, the Chinese team finished seventh in Tokyo, and she won an individual silver medal on the balance beam. she also won silver in the worlds all-around competition in 2019

While we appreciate the Tang Xijing coverage, it seems you have her confused with another gymnast. Tang Xijing is the 2019 World All-Around Silver Medalist and 2021 Olympic Beam Silver Medalist. She was not age eligible for Worlds in 2018, however, she competed at the Youth Olympic Games at won Gold on Beam and Bronze on Bars. Please do your research before making a post like this, as this is not the first time the Olympic Channel or other sports networks have misidentified a Chinese athlete. It’s insulting to the athlete. Tang Xijing deserves her true story to be told.
