One of your last videos someone brought up the different pain densities and till then I didn't even think about it. Now your bringing it up and showing how it looks over other paint and im blown away! I got a cell tonight that captured my fire opal paint, its not very big but I looks like a real fire opal inside it. It was so cool to see that. I love this piece, you have the purple and blue playing off each other and that green is to die for in this piece. I didn't really like it from a distance because you can't really see the intricacy of it but close up its amazing, so much movement, Sorry i'm blathering on but this piece is so...….. you couldn't get more detail and perfection if you had taken an actual picture of this in nature that's how detailed it is.

Absolutely love that green!! If you didn’t use a flow extender(White) the dry canvas would grab the paint, folding it over itself, then when you stretch, you’re composition would go wonky. The moral of the story is, you need a wet canvas so you can control stretching & composition. And THIS is my very favorite thus far! I love green, so you had me when it was still in the cups!

This is a fabulous color combination! I love the seagrasses area with that Prussian Green and the blues! And I'm so glad you slipped in a wee bit of the Fire Opal Also glad that you limited the white. I like the way it appears between the boulders. Sarah, I'm totally amazed by how you are getting so many translucent layers throughout the MAJORITY of the painting! How are you doing that??? (I'm experimenting, but getting only some translucent areas.) (I've been drooling over the ArtMinds Brushed Metallic Sapphire, and now I'm starting to crave the Golden's Irridescent Fine Gold. My Christmas Wish List is getting longer and longer!! I probably should add the Prussian Green, too. You are fueling my paint obsession, Sarah! **laughing at myself!**) BTW, you handled the video issue quite nicely. You're a classy lady, Sarah. Wishing you a wonderful week, Sarah, with smiles and hugs from Southern California!

@@SarahMackArt Hmmmmm.....I'm using the same paints and PM. I wondered if it's a specific range of consistency of your paint. Also, wonder if it's the way you move the paint around the canvas and the way you stretch it out. My last guess is it's your deep artistic vibe melding with the paint. Sigh.....ok. I'm gonna keep experimenting. I'm having fun even when I don't get what I aim for. If you have any guesses, please whisper them in my ear, Sarah!

Awesome painting. Love your exquisite art piece. I was wondering what you are thinking when all is quiet and you're pouring out the paint. Do you really hold your breath? I would be thinking, this better come out awesome. Or, steady hand, don't mess up. Lol. Really beautiful colors. I guess we are all having trouble finding fire opal. So the white you put around the puddle has enamel in it right? Thanks for sharing this with us.

I’m holding my breath! Lol that way im steady!
@littlefeather97095 жыл бұрын
@@SarahMackArt You are steady. Plus the cup weighs a bit. I'm thinking that this technique would be better on your size canvas rather than a smaller on. Like 10x10. Should be bigger than that. You think?
