These chickens roam freely around Sin Min Ave. At times wandering freely into the condos like Flame Tree and Thomson View where I live. It's nice to see a whole family of them roaming about the estate going about their day. However it can get rather annoying every morning when all the roosters start crowing... and they do so even at 5am or on weekends :)) This area is being developed. That patch of greenery is ever reducing in size. Wonder if AVA would kindly shift some over to either the nearby reserviors or even the botanic gardens. Hopefully the monkeys would not bother them too much... I wonder if these free roaming chickens are found elsewhere in Singapore too.

The place is somewhere along Sin Ming Ave. Sadly, it has become human's habitat - a condominium. A few years ago, our government agency AVA caught and culled these chickens. They said they were not red junglefowls. I agree with you. Those chickens WERE red junglfowls. Today, chickens have inhabited our area again, but they are not pure. Please read this article: www.theonlinecitizen.com/2017/02/03/wild-city-features-sin-ming-ave-chickens-as-endangered-red-junglefowl/

@@Wil401Gaming wild chickens can actualy fly even some domestic breeds still can, like the leghorn, friesians and little bantams, but most of the breeds have too short wingses compared to their size that's why they can't anymore.
