I have to agree that Cassandra is a Guard. It's the only way to truly clean up her missing. Though it is clear that she just wasn't created at the time the wedding short took place as production of Tangled the Series didn't start until early 2015 more likely before it was announced.

I haven't gotten a chance to watch the series yet (but I'm going to)! and I've gotta say, Cassandra being Mother Gothel's daughter actually has me really excited. It offers Gothel's character a sort of "redemption" through her child. She can protect and look out for Rapunzel in a way her mother never did. And they look so alike it's uncanny- Disney does nothing without thinking about it first. It's pretty much canon to me at this point. :)

I think they should do a remake of this short in the style of the show with a few additions: - Varian running late due to a project and ending up chasing the animals in an attempt to save the rings and falling trough the roof - throw Rudiger, Fidela, Owl and the crow in with the chasing animals - Varian realising that Fidela and Owl being there means Cassandra is near by - Cass walking in to the room late only to catch Varian all messed up crooked goggles and all - Cass asking what did I miss? - Varian half groggy proclaiming CASSIE!!! very loudly when he lands in her arms and hugs her -Both blushing in embarrassment as the crowd turns to them - Cass giving a pissed red faced look at varian with a raised eyebrow - Varian asking wait did we miss the entire ceremony?! - Cass facepalming in response to Varians question - cameos from characters from the series (lance, red/katalina, angry/kira, quirin, king Edmund, the castle staff, the former captain of the guards, monty etc...) - and offcourse Cass should be wearing her outfit from the series finale along with the cassandrium necklace and Varian just his season 3 outfit I would watch that on loop!😂🤣

I personally consider Cassandra as my favourite character in the series. She's tough, smart and practical, exactly what I like. She's also much more "realistic" (i.e. similar to persons in real life). On the contrary, Rapunzel is a bit too kind, caring and naive. There's rarely any people in the real world like her.

Now, the only reason repunzel got the powers was because she was in the womb and the magic infused with her only. There is speculation that a bit of the magic made the mother age a bit slower. But, the magic wasn't passed down geneticly. It was given to her from birth. Literally.

Well, here's my theory, if your interested of course lol Gothal was born poor and before was actually a good women who always wanted to look young and beautiful in her young years like the high class girls and one day she fell in love and had a child but still with her obsession of beauty, she noticed that after giving birth to Cassandra she started to have a impact on her youth and cast her husband and daughter away and she just went mad and ran away to learn witchcraft and basically find a way to keep her youth and well the story branches out from there to Tangle, Since Cassandra was abandoned when she was a baby, it would be explain why she doesn't remember her mom and why her dad wouldn't tell her it, would be like "Your mom left you because you cause her to look older and she hated you for that and abandon you" ....lol

Easy, her character didn't exist yet when the wedding mini-movie was made. *lol* especially seeing how Rapunzels hair is STILL brown and short and still looking like it had been hacked off with a sword, like it didn't have time to grow out the NORMAL non-magical way, after days/weeks/months before her wedding to Eugene. I DOUBT Cassandra is Gothels kid. Seeing how they look like they are the same age, exactly WHEN did Gothel get pregnant without Rapunzel noticing that her 'mom' getting fat? Thinking about it, Eugene's best friend, Lance, isn't shown at the wedding either. I think it has to be just because they never knew they'd make a TV series at the time and created Cass and Lance and all the other friends from the series (for example Rapunzel's aunt and Hook Foot and Fidella). I do hope that when the series has a finale episode they do their own version of the wedding with Cass, Lance, and all the rest of their friends from the show.

In "Once a Handmaiden...", Varian intends to use "Project Obsidian" to destroy Cassandra's self-esteem. This foreshadows the events of "Plus Est En Vous", where Cassandra does indeed lose her self-esteem after being betrayed and imprisoned by Zhan Tiri, before Rapunzel manages to convince her that there is more in her.

Cassandra was probably there, but was working behind the scenes. She wanted the focus to be on Rapunzel. As Rapunzel's lady in waiting, she would have had a ton of duties that include :help the bride get into her bridal attire, be a messenger for the bride, remain with the bride until that all important walk down the aisle, "Fluff" the bridal train before she makes her entrance into the ceremony, keep track of the bride's personal belongings (veil, purse, make up, bouquet, room key etc.), having a buffet, she will make the trip for the bride to get her food, make sure the bride's and groom's glasses are kept full with the beverage of choice, clean and prepare the bridal suite for the honeymoon night (when the reception is held in close proximity to the reception venue). Cassandra probably also told Rapunzel that Cassandra can sneak Rapunzel out of Corona if she was having second thoughts. Cass probably watched the ceremony from the back. To add to this that in the novel Rapunzel and the Lost Lagoon, Rapunzel and Cassandra make an agreement that Cassandra will be guaranteed the Captain of the Guard position, when Rapunzel is Queen, so why would she go after it if she is already guaranteed it.

My favorite character is definitely Cassandra!! Not only was she a good swordsman and friend to Rapunzel but I love how she still had a code of honor and never betrays a friend's trust even when she gets into disagreements with Raps and Eugene in some episodes. I also really enjoy the relationship she has with not just Rapunzel, but also Eugene, her adoptive father (The Captain of the Guard) and Varian during the first season and I can bet we'll see more of her character development evolve further down in the next 2 seasons. Lastly, she is voiced by Eden Espinosa who previously played Elphaba in the Los Angeles production of "Wicked" and I got to say, I really dig her singing voice especially during the song "Ready As I'll Ever Be" in Secret of the Sundrop. Can't wait for Season 2 to come out. :D #CassandraTangled #CassandraisAwesome

My favorite Tangled: The Series character has to be Varian. He's adorable, an alchemist, and just wants to make his father proud and help people. With him becoming a villain now is really interesting. All I want is for him to turn good again and get his father back. But that won't be easy. It's going to be fun and sad to see how Varian will get his father back. And possibly redeem himself.

Wottso Videos , I was wondering when watching the video. In Tangled Ever After the Crime Brothers are chained and sitting in the crowd. While enjoying watching the wedding of the two people, but mostly Eugene they hate in the movie and series. One of the brothers even crys at the wedding. My question for you is..... Why are the Crime brothers; even at the wedding while enjoying it when the series and the movie shows us they hate mostly Eugene and Rapunzel???? I mean, yeah sure she has a very strong bond with rapz but having a life without your parents but knowing that they’re still out there, wouldn’t you take that chance to find them? Wouldn’t you wanna know their reason for leaving you?
