Tangled Tower at Magic Kingdom, Rapunzel & Flynn Rider Restrooms, Fantasyland - Disney World

One idea for a Rapunzel ride is using her 'hair' as a type of drop tower ride (of course the ride version will use some material strong enough to hold a person) Similar to the scene in the trailer where she throws a hair tied to a chair Flynn outside of the tower to taunt him. Another could be a classic Hot air balloon carrousel ride but instead with the lanterns as the balloon and the seats are designed to resemble boats Also a chair swing ride with a wide tree trunk as the main body, the trees top could be the shade that has the swings hanging from it, the swings resemble 'hair' with seats while a sculpture of Rapunzel and pascal sits by the bottom of the tree While her hair going around the tree trunk and to the top, making it look as if it's connecting to all the chair swings where the riders sit on. A sculpture of Flynn is towards her left of the tree trunk while Maximus is towards her right of the tree trunk as he is trying to 'chase' the wanted Flynn.

That is so beautiful! I love this expansion at Fantasyland. It's like they are making theme areas for each fairy tale character. We have Ariel's area, Belle's area and now Rapunzel's. Soon, Snow White will be next. I wonder if Cinderella, Aurora, and Merida will get their own? Also, Disney should put Pinocchio's Daring Journey Fantasyland.

Cinderella and Merida already have an area and when fairetale hall opens(i think that is it) we will have meet and greets for the remaining disney princesses. I wish the characters where like the characters at disneyland though where they do what they feel is right

A concern of mine is that the D Charge Stations are not covered. If you are going to have to sit there a while with your device, it can get hot in the sun, and if it rains. Some more covered areas in that area would be good for when the rain comes, there are not a lot of places to duck and cover around that area. But yay for stroller parking! Fantasyland was a nightmare to go through with all the stollers.

While I appreciate Disney's attention to detail and agree that it is a beautiful area.... come ON! It's a BATHROOM stop!! LOVED Tangled! When i first saw it and watched the scene of Rapunzel and Flynn riding through the rapids to get away from the guards, I was inwardly cheering that this meant that there would be a water ride in the film's honor. And now... Bathrooms??? - and that's it?? Honestly - my thought is to re-theme Splash Mountain from the out-dated and pretty well banned Song of the South to Rapunzel and Flynn's Splash Mountain Escape. (Vintage Disney fans hate this idea - but I think it makes sense.)

But their escape was definitely an adventure, and I think that is more a part of the Disney Universe these days then Song of the South which they pretty well are trying to sweep under the rug. Plus on top of which , Rapunzel definitely deserves something more for her than a fancy bathroom.

I just reread your comment and had to correct you that Splash Mountain is in Frontierland and not Adventureland so it makes littler sense than before. Now maybe if they were to make a water ride in that area, a Princess and the Frog ride would be pretty neat! "Tiana's Bayou Escape" or something along those lines lol

I think characters just walking around the parks creates too many crowd control problems. Plus, it's hot in Florida. The characters need air conditioning :P

They have breaks for 30 minutes when it’s hot, and their never uncomfortable with the crowds. Disney tried their best make them comfortable :)

Don't get me wrong the area is beautiful, but I think its a waste of space. This could have been room for a dark ride, and yes I know we just got a new one, but look how many Disneyland has in their fantasyland. Can't the characters just walk around the park like the use to do.
