This. Etho uses a stack of everything because of his shulker refiller system but if you don't rely on that, it's better to use bundles for this. This way most of organics can all be in one shulker.

@@Progeusz- Speaking of the refilling system... I wish bundles worked with dispensers somehow. Like, if a hopper, dropper, etc. pushes items into an inventory with a bundle, it'll fill the bundle first; then a dispenser with a non-empty bundle can dump the bundle's items into a facing inventory ("unwrapping" it). Or something like that. Knowing when to fill and/or unwrap bundles would be the hardest part of the design, since you may want partially filled bundles for organization...

Its so sad how they are stuck in only a handful of bioms that arent that common (and 2 of those are savana and desert, places people beraly ever build in). And even when you do run into them, they run away, which makes it hard to farm them or even just keep around for ambiance

Same, I really liked that there was finally a use for rabbit hide. I think they should have a much shorter breeding cooldown and grow up quicker than other animals too, then rabbit breeders would be quite efficient.

A few suggestions for hungry hermits. 1. Make droppers in the ceiling occasionally drop trash to make it even more difficult. Maybe this only happens on higher difficulties 2. Definitely add a noise for when the hermit gets angrier. Ideally use the decked out 1 noise for some nostalgia, I think thematically it fits well too

I agree with the Rabbit thing, but I think it should be funnier. I think Rabbit's shouldn't be manually bred. They should have Village Populations, where they will breed unaided as long as wheat or hay is available until they meet a density of 30 or 40. And at regular intervals they drop wool just like chickens drop eggs. It would then be possible to make a rabbit/wool/leather farm making them worth farming. I also think we need more cooking recipies in general.

You could add sound effects to the Hungry Hermits queue to add to the chaos. Put a villager head on a noteblock and change how often it plays based on how many customers are outside to give them an audible indication of how many customers are outside and add to the chaos. Alternatively it could play each time a new hermit joins the queue.

Several people have suggested Hermit-voice audio clips to enhance the game. It would be tricky but maybe worth it to customize clips based on whose head was on an armor stand, so if a Skizz armor stand was nearing the end of his timer he'd say "I'm a hungy-dungy-chunky-monkey!"

36:58 I keep a stack of prismarine, a conduit, and a slime block in my ender chest. That lets me build a conduit structure if I decide to raid an ocean monument, so I have vision and water breathing throughout. The slime block is to put under the conduit itself, since you can insta-mine it even with mining fatigue. If you're ever in a position where long-term water breathing is useful, and there's room to build a conduit structure, it's useful to have on hand. Underwater cavern mining is another example. Once you go too far, you can just pack up and move your conduit.

Rabbit farming is easy. Just build a fully-enclosed room (fences are fine for the sides) and create a ladder column going into it with a trap door (rabbits can definitely climb ladders). It's really easy to breed them up to large numbers in a small area and get a ton of drops when it comes time to harvest. You can create a separate area with redstone-powered gates that close off a fraction of the rabbits so you don't accidentally kill them all. I use that latter trick with all manually farmed livestock.

That's a relief about the redstone mechanic changes. I was nervous when I heard about them, because I saw and heard how frustrated you were about having to rebuild your redstone farm twice as updates broke features of the farms. The last thing I wanted was for you (or anyone) to have to completely take apart and redo other projects on the scale of Hungry Hermits or the factory.

Idea for the build up of requested items: have a comparator detect the level of the hoppers and prevent requests when it starts to back up. Not sure if it helps much, but it would prevent it breaking the factory when it backs up.

Tango, the system you have for input at the carts is over complicated without reason. 1.Discard the hoppers and the dropper and the item chests 2. use a simple 8gt clock (4 observers +2 solid+ 2 noteblock making a cycle) to dispense the hopper carts That way the hoppercarts will be able to pick up item ENTITIES instead of items, that means that instead of grabbing 1 item per game tick, if there are piled 7 redstone dust and 13 iron ingots, they still counts as 2 items and a cart can take them in 2 game ticks instead of 20

If players need to kill rats with the broom, you could make the broom a weapon that one shots the rats. But silverfish that aren’t one shot will call to other silverfish stored in stone. So you could enforce that players need to one shot the rats, otherwise respawning silverfish jump out of stone blocks above them

If you didn't look into it yet, I'm guessing you're recording with multiple audio tracks, while only audio track 1 is send to Twitch as stream audio. Guessing that's why we were only able to hear your voice. A possible solution is to add all audio devices to track 3 and use that as the stream audio.

I still dont understand why he is using minecarts or boat chests to try to help speed up the system instead of just a double chest. The purpose is to have two hoppers functioning at the same time, a double chest does the exact same thing. Boats and such are for quad hopper action which isn't applicable here. No. Potions don't stack, and bundles only hold max 1 stack of items. So a bundle can only hold a single potion anyway.

So 1 item that normally stacks to 64 fills up 1/64 of the total capacity; 1 item that normally stacks to 16 fills up 1/16 of the total capacity; and an item that normally stacks to only 1 (so, doesn't stack) fills up 100% of the capacity. The bundles weren't designed to give you more stacks of capacity, they're just meant to consolidate partial stacks of various items into one.
