@@CJ5C its not that hard to understand... it takes hours upon hours upon days for them to create content for a 20 ish minute video. Most of which has different content in 1 video. Can you imagine finding something wrong with your build whilst doing the monologue for the video and then a few hours later forgetting about said issue? I'm sure it happens all the time for the hermits. Kudos to them for getting the videos out.

Given the puzzle nature of the dungeon, hermits who get stuck in the ice trap might expect a secret way to escape, and be confused or disappointed with a straight up death. Maybe add some notes in the chest that say 'GG' or something. It can rub in the fact that they got trapped, while also letting them know that they aren't missing anything and don't have to come back to look for the 'secret that would have let them live'

Judging by how popular TCG has become (i.e. completely taking over the entire server), when Decked Out is finished it's going to be running non-stop. There's gonna be a line for weeks, to the point that many hermits will resort to logging on in the middle of the night to try and get more dungeon runs.

Mobs don't trigger sculk sensors, so the ravagers will only take damage if they're chasing someone through the trap. And with how much health the big brutes have got, it would take a coordinated effort on the Hermits' part to kill a ravager off that way.

@@monatae9725 Idk, dispenser arrows do 1.5 hp, and ravagers have 100 hp, so assuming the ravager gets hit 5 times on average (pretty conservative looking at the video imo), thats only ~13-14 runs going through there to kill a ravager. Tango: the way you have hazard will trigger many traps at the start and few at the end of a run. If you have a 1 in 18 chance to trigger, and 18 untriggered traps, you'll trigger about one per hazard. Later in a run you might only have one left, it will need on average 9 more hazard pulses to trigger one hazard trap. One solution is to speed hazard up over time. Every hazard pulse, remove one item from the hopper clock.

For those who aren't aware, the trick is that when you get the option to switch it _looks_ like a 50/50 chance because there's only two doors; but actually there's a 67% chance (2/3) that you picked a wrong door in the first place, which means it's a 67% chance that you win if you switch and lose if you don't.

@@aliciacordero8399 Well i was never good at stochastic but the way i see it is that the first pick is entierly meaningless. If it was the right door, or the wrong one dosent affect the chances of the second pick at all, because in both cases a wrong door gets eliminated and there is no way to tell if the door you chose on the first pick was the right one or not. @@iAkrobat_that's not how it works at all, of course your first choice matters when it comes to your chance of winning after you switch doors. Tango, you absolute madman. I love that trap, and I can't wait to see the reactions of the other hermits when they inevitably fall for it, if they decide to record it of course... Anyway... what if told you, you could make them *WANT* to fall for it afterwards :) Make it into a ''prize pool'' where each players death to that trap, increases the ''jackpots'' value, but also the risk of the trap triggering. To add insult to injury, a full chest will hook the trap up to Hazard, potentially locking a player out from even getting to it. To make sure the chest is never empty if it's been collected on a previous run, make a buffer station that puts something in the chest, when the game is turned off, if there's nothing in it. As an added bonus, you could make one of these ''prize pools'' on each floor, each one being better value, but also more dangerous.

in the build would it work if u put some buildings that remind players of decked out 1.maybe like a broken down entrance(of course scaled down). i think it would fit really well in floor 2. great video! really want to see how this is gonna look like whe its finished!

Wow Tango got the 1 in 3 chance with Impulse's game! I would always switch, cuz it's a 2 in 3 chance of getting it right. (it's called the Monty Hall problem) Easiest way to think about it is: you have a *1 in 3* chance of picking the *right* one, and a *2 in 3* chance of picking the *wrong* one. If you pick the *right* one, you *don't* want to switch. If you pick the *wrong* one, you *do* want to switch.

I have been watching many of the hermits since season 5, and I’ve got to say this might be my favorite season of tango. He does so much stuff in 1ep, and not too long ago he pretty much built the entire exterior of his base in 1ep.

Tango, for the ice trap, consider placing a bell in the pool of water, as it is something hermits will recognize that it benefits them, without it being a mystery like a chest or a barrel. Also, is it possible to add a redstone line when the game ends to tell any doors you have in the dungeon that the player may have opened (like the Narnia closet) to be closed for the next runner

Strange idea for a card; well, two actually: 1. Iron Lungs: You can breath underwater 2. Danger Sense: An number of traps are closed off or cannot be triggered (depending on the trap) Iron Lungs was mostly inspired by your water tunnel, but also that water trap you made in this video.
@sethsmith2608
@sethsmith2608 Жыл бұрын
Iron lungs, though cool, would be very difficult to activate because you would have to have a conduit near every water pocket in the entire game, and also that might risk killing some of the mobs that need to always be alive

Idea: I think players holding a light source like a lantern is really great for the explorering mood. Blaze rods might be better so they can't break out of your trap. Maybe get one on the front gate so most people have to stop at the gate. You can even guess an area they will stop from the item drop area. Might fix your front gate trigger?

I have the same problem with sculk sensors. I think the issue is interference - picking up on a signal that’s not the one you’re looking for and then being unable to pick up on the right one because the sensor is on cooldown. They could fix it by letting you make the sensor only listen for one signal instead of having to filter it out later on. Perhaps they could make it so you can send a signal strength into the sensor and that would make it only pick up on signals that produce that strength?

I love the water trap hahaha. I feel like it's a one and done trap though if it always kills the player. Everyone would avoid it after dying once and wouldn't do much good after a few runs. I think there should be some risk/reward element to it, like a chance it'll freeze over, some loot in there, or giving the ice a chance to melt before the player dies. Even if they take drowning damage their run could be over soon but they could chance it for some loot
@StarNanny

It’s actually not a problem. As they progress to levels 3 and 4, they’re going to minimize their time in the upper levels, anyway.

Hey Tango, for the arrow hallway trap, I had a small idea to maybe throw in a few Flame Charges into a dispenser. Considering there is a lava section right there, you could light the players on fire even after they dodged (or didn’t dodge) the lava parkour
