@@BabyClap yeah I think that's a way to show tanjiro's progression with things have been in the show so far. Before like on the spider mountain tanjiro learned that he wasn't as strong as a hashira which is why Giyu had to come and save him. Back then it was about showing how strong a hashira is. Tanjiro put all that effort in and basically did nothing while giyu comes in and dispatched Rui like he was an insect. It showed the power gap between him and a hashira. Now though tanjiro has gotten stronger and he's able to fight on his own (albeit he still has his limits) and that shows just how far he's come since then

This episode really showed why Rengoku's dad got so pissed at Tanjiro when they met, and why Muzan got PTSD over his earrings. It's crazy how since Tanjiro isn't a proper Sun breathing user, he has to kill himself just to use the moves, but a proper Sun user would be able to do all this as easily as Tanjiro uses Water breathing.

I don't know if what you're saying is a spoiler from the manga (and I don't want to know and will assume you are just making your own assumptions), but I think it's the opposite. I think that the sacrifice of any sun breathing user is to sacrifice their body to achieve this effect. Perhaps that's how his dad became sick and frail, potentially giving his all to kill Muzan, only to fail to finish the job. Muzan recovered, and went to go kill him himself, and Tanjiro was the only one of inherit the breathing technique. I also think Tanjiro has to grow into it more, but still, my point is that I believe (never read the manga) that this is just a natural sacrifice that has to be made.

@@gyptice it's technically not a spoiler since Tanjiro in this episode stated that contrary to what Rengoku's dad assumed, he was not born with the forehead mark that Sun breath users typically have. I assumed based off that line that using those moves would put a lot more strain on Tanjiro compared to a genuine Sun breath user. As much as i like the KNY community's joke that Tanjiro's mom turned his dad frail from having kids, your theory makes a lot more sense.

Do you know how mad someone has to be to cry blood? Tanjirou' Rage was kind of hinted at in season 1 when the Spider Mother killed some Demon Slayers. Tanjirou was so angry he scared even Inosuke. Also we finally see Nezuko's full demon form or as I like to call it Boing Boing mode!...I'll see myself out.

Bro clearly skipped half of the goddamn series. Tanjiro fought rui before he even learned total concentration breathing which was already a major upgrade and on top of that trained with a Tsuchinoto among the demon slayer ranks. After all that training and rehab they then went to the mugen train where Tanjiro fought upper moon 1 buffed by Muzan's blood. It wasn't clearly stated that Enmu after the buff was upper moon level but he was definitely way stronger then anyone tanjiro had fought by far. Tanjiro was able to beat Enmu literally 1 on 1 before he merged with the train while they were on top of the train showing the result of the training at the butterfly mansion. After that regardless of tanjiro not being able to enter the fight against akaza he was still able to witness the capabilities of a upper rank. Even going as far as landing a hit on akaza while he was running away from the sun. After all these consecutive fights and training tanjiro went on to train for another 4 months while also consecutively training hinokami kagura. Increasing his physical capabilities while also working on his breathing techniques. How the hell is this dbz powerups 😂😂😂 I'm not sitting here and saying that Tanjiro can beat an upper rank by himself but with all that training and experience in even fighting one its not far fetched to say that he can at least hold his own. And that was what was shown in this episode and if you actually watched the episode you would still see tanjiro's inexperience as he literally forgot to breath and failed to cut daki's head off 😂😂😂 If you gonna comment something then at least let it be facts 😂😂😂
