Ofc there has to be someone really like to open combat before tank. In the first battle i mean. In that case i usually just FTS boss (tumble in this boss's case) then start opening combo to take the aggros back and save some times for ally, because if we don't, that stupid opener could die, or aggro transfer to another member and they end up dying. Also. I saw you use Blink Sword for Flinch. As i read somewhere, it said that if we graze, then it won't incflict Flinch, because of that, i hesitate to use it as primary Flinch method. Do you ever meet any situation like that ? Like, on high flee boss ? I'd like to know it. Thank you.

@@qtnh5027 Ah, thats simply because the eng skill description missed some words and have poor paraphrasing. Here is the corrected version according to my test at Iconos Ulti and the original JP description: "Throw a sword to instantly close the distance to the target, with chance to inflict damage. When successful (dealing damage), Fractional Damage can be reduced for 3 second and the effect of Fareth will not be lost even if u move. Gain an effect that guarantees Blink Sword hit if Flinch is successfully inflicted. A MISS will cause (the buff) to fail to activate." Well, the original JP version only mentioned "A miss will cause a failure", without mentioning what failure. The same things happened to the definition of "Success" in the JP ver, they didn't really define whether it is "flinch success" or "hit success". In my iconos ulti test, 1) you won't get the buff if miss, but you will have the buff if graze or hit, which is the same as the corrected version. 2) if flinch is in cool down, the boss WON'T POP "Resistance: XX seconds" after using blink sword (unlike hard hit) and you damage will graze. 3) damage must be hit if flinch is successful I guess point 2 should be the root cause of the misunderstanding? As you won't know flinch is in cool down and u can only see the graze damage. That's y the tester thought it is graze -> flinch failure instead of flinch failure -> graze Btw, you should be able to see all my normal attack grazed when tanking Gegner lv400 but blink sword can flinch him without any problem

@akakuro ohhhhhh. I see, that's how it works. So if Flinch is not on cooldown, then the skill will successfully inflict Flinch and result with a non-graze crit hit. If Flinch is on cooldown, then the damage could be graze, and doesn't give a Flinch cooldown notice. This really explains the sentence: "A successfully Flinch will always result with a perfect hit". Thank you so much for these informations and tests, AkaKuro. This really help me.
