Thanks for the video, very helpful. My oil tank is quite high and when checking the oil the stick I was using felt inside the tank and now I can't take it out; will this cause any problems in the oil? Thanks for your help.

Thanks..very helpful. Kept getting an empty read with float but measure was much higher. Float must have broken and did not realize.

Looks like your using a 1 1/4 inch vent pipe and a 2 inch fill pipe that pressures up the tank when filling if that tank gets a weak spot you’ll blow it out as the tank gets older

Use a cheater bar if you have a smaller adjustable wrench...you'll love it, might make you chuckle.

What is the oil delivery guy overfill the tank ?? I saw a wet spot coming out from the level gage
@Dicofol14 жыл бұрын
They can't overfill because they hear when the tank is full via a whistle in the vent pipe. If its leaking from the gauge opening either the gauge gasket is worn/damaged and should be replaced. Or the actual treads where the gauge screws into the metal tank need to have some pipe dope applied to them and then retreaded in place.
