I'm wondering and hoping he's not using the Bnet Recycled edition with DRM live service spyware? Next thing ya know there will be a monthly sub fee for WC3 on Bnet because why not? That's what it's really all about from big game publishers these days. And the best part is the previous free patch that came out 3 years before Recycled. It was the free HD upgrade and the game looks amazing with that patch. It's not too cartoony like Recycled. I like my Blizzard games to be dark and easy on the eyes like Diablo 1. I don't want Fortnite bright rainbow colors in Blizzard games. Nor the monetization scams. With the way DRM and spyware works it should be entirely free to install the entire game, including all of WoW. They make a massive fortune with your online data.
