I can't thank you enough! You convinced me to give this clipper a try and I am 30+ year veteran in the industry and very little impresses me but this clipper did, it has the power of Babyliss FX one without the weight and awkward feel. I think they took all the pluses of the popular brands and left out the minuses.

Hey guys, when you get the clippers read the instructions ... there specific instruction to charge it before testing it out the box. Then make sure you drain it until it dies and fully charge it and repeat the cycle 2 times to optomize the battery and get the most capacity

100%. I do 3 cycles. I “overcharge”first. Then turn it on nd let it run till dead. 3X. If you let it run and just play with the lever it breaks in your blades and lever. Or if you dnt want the actual wear on your cam follower. Take off the blades and can then let it run till dead.

Does it have the same power as the instinct clipper?? If you had to choose the instinct or the play which on you honestly taking???

Not at all the same power. It depends what you “need” it for. If you tryna set guide lines in and knock down bulk on the thickest haired clients you have then get the instincts. But the quality and everything the Play has to offer for the price is the best in the market. The ONLY downfall to the play is that it dnt have usbC charging, thats it. It has enough torque to chop thick hair on the second speed setting and it’ll be slow enough to feed the hair properly through the blade on the low speed for blending. I feel like it’s metal casing as well but I’m not sure it’s hard to tell. Or fuck it get both. Instinct is the strongest clipper in the market hands down. But the PLAY is the Smartest buy in the market 100% also I figured out how to take off the clicks on the play lever. But the clicks it has are the smoothest ones that’s I’ve felt. I personally just prefer the floating lever since I’m old school .

I know them guards look cheap but they’re the best guards. The half guard closed will erase the open clipper line like nothing and you can flick the half guard into the 1.5 guard with no lines created. They’re the same guards that come with jrl and madeshow clippers.

@@user-tK2310 it don’t matter I don’t t think, I like my madeshow clippers which look different but are the exact same thing as the jrl, same motor, same battery, same click lever, same blade, etc. I believe madeshow makes these clippers
