A very in depth build my friend don't apologise for showing us details that others may not be interested in you have and will develop an audience that will watch all of your creations no matter what you build . Happy modelling marra ! Regards Gav.

Thanks Gavin, highly apriciate it! Great advice, building an audience means to me valueing your time more than mine, therefore I try to include the analytics into my editing process - learning both modelling and making videos - all the great fun : ) See you over at your channel in a few minutes, marra.

@Tankbrusher4 жыл бұрын

This is a great build. You techniques are wonderful! I have some of Miniart's 1/16 scale figures and the casting is horrible. Nice to see this kit is so clean out of the box.

Thank you Vic! I don't know stand alone figure kits yet, so no experience on my side but mini art tanks are a challange. Lots of parts. I'm building on thier Stug 0-Series models for over half a year now more parts than 2 or 3 kits in one : ) Nice work on your channel, mate! You "figure painters" are hooking me up more and more with historical tabletop games : )

Hello and great video! I also find it hard to lay the chipping fluid on smoothly...it also sprays very rough and spotty. Hairspray always gives me better results. Your weathering result is excellent and it was great to see all the techniques you used to achieve it. And I always love some mud splatter effects :)
@Panzermeister364 жыл бұрын
If it won't be too much trouble, I think a small diorama or base would be cool like you mentioned!
@Tankbrusher4 жыл бұрын
Thank you. Panzermeister would you mind to share what hairspray you're using? I'm interested in the label with the ingredients - I know of some differences in their chemical composition back from PLA 3D printing where we use hairspray as adhesive for the print bed. I highly doubt I can buy the same product as you use here in the EU, but can surely find an equivalent.

I'm putting together a Trumpeter s.10cm Kanone 18 with a Dragon Sd.Kfz. 7 (desert) and hope to have them in a diorama...well...someday...LOL. If you want, I'd like to see a diorama even though yours wouldn't be desert. For those of you considering putting the canon together, well, I'm 64 years old and there's a huge amount of very small pieces. I had a hell of a time with this. The Dragon Sd.Kfz. 7 does not have a "ready to go" frame for the chassis and I think I had to take it apart 3 times and redo it to get everything to line up. But they're both together now and been primed and base coated.
@Tankbrusher3 жыл бұрын
some kits are a challange, Dragon often want's you to modify a lot more than we should have to do. I'm in now for about one year into getting serious about building model kits, it took till now for me to be able to put most stuff together that gets thrown at me - so I can feel your pain too - and some kits I was not able to deal with when I started... I assembled three pairs of printed, workable, panzer I tracks under the microscope for next fridays video - that was good practice ; )

I bought this one the other day it's not long out but most probably a rebox of this! How was the plastic being an earlier kit was it ok or brittle and large sprue gate ? Miniarts white boxart normally are especially there Gaz trucks I had to rebuild alot of the Gaz AAA maxim kit from brass rod on the maxix stand for the flatbed but looks amazing! miniart-models.com/products/35369-zis-2-zis-3-with-limber-crew-2-in-1/
@Tankbrusher3 жыл бұрын
Hi, the kit went together well for me - I think I renember miniart having a somewhat softer and ductile plastic with okay spruegates - it was for sure not Avf-Club bad in terms of gate size. Can't recall any complains on my side. Was one oif these impulse buy things that happen when visiting the store without finding something else ; )
@Emtbtoday3 жыл бұрын
@@Tankbrusher oh yeah there newer kits are great now changed plastic manufacturers I tend to avoid the white boxes with the are in the middle now only go for the full boxart kits as there the one's they change the plastic in and hell of a better!
