This is why preservation is so important. Each tank or vehicle has a story to tell and might’ve even played a part in history. People always asked me why I have a interest in history and war in general, this is why. We have the opportunity to learn from our previous mistakes that ultimately lead us to wars and even how we fought said wars. History is important. People who complained about doing history in school either missed the point or had inadequate educators. Thank you for the footage Iron..

Reading this reminded me of that German grandpa who had a perfectly preserved operational Panther in his basement. Only for it to be damaged when the government decided to forcefully take it away and convict the grandpa when it was discovered.
