I hope they make tanks more realistic at some point. Reforger is milisim game after all, so tanks should have crew and no way to use 3rd person view. Getting in and out should have full animation like with other vehicles also. Still really cool to see tanks added to the game.

Then just say that you haven't played any arma games.All arma games had 3rd person,If the server allows 3rd person it will have 3rd person

@@contra7631 I am fine with some servers having 3rd person toggle but having it on every server is just immersion breaking and makes vehicles insanely OP. Piloting helicopter, driving tank, handling mortars, commanding squads, being sniper, being spotter, being medic, being mechanic/support/builder/supplies runner etc. are supposed to be specialized roles in milisim games that focus on realism. It is supposed to be hard, complicated and something new player can't just start doing right to way. Battlefield games are for the arcade gameplay and it's fine to be able to do everything without any knowledge of the game. In milisim games it's big problem some times (specially when sales or new huge patches etc. appear) that new players join and keep taking vehicles like helicopters, flying them few meters and crashing or somehow manages to get somewhere and just leaves the copter there. Or some take sniper kit (if game has dedicated kits) and goes rambo without spotter etc. It should be clearly notified and stopped when player tries to rush and take something they clearly are not meant to take (like aspecific role). I've seen too many wannabe helicopter pilots who know how to get up but have no idea how to get down or what the purpose of the vehicle is (used to be guild/clan transportation "officer" in different games back in 2000-2015 (mainly a pilot). That is why I hope they will change tanks to be like other vehicles in the game aka more realistic and require actual crew + animations etc. This is just my opinion and I have it because there is tons of games for those wanna go play lazer tag in arcade shooter with godlike infinite magazines etc. For milisim I want it to be milisim and realistic, teamwork requiring and slow paced. Same goes for every type of game. If game is survival game and says it's realistic survival but have almost 0 animations, everything happens instantly, guns do not require maintenance and magazines magically are filled with bullets which you can swap like a pro in a second while sliding down asphalt hill in your underwear... that is not a survival game, that is arcade shooter with extra annoyances like needing to press item in inventory to magically fill a bar named "hunger". Good enough answer for you? Or still wanna argue when there is nothing to argue about?

@@Omili isnt it because the tanks are mods.. never understood the 3rd person thing in arma.. and the tanks can be solo controlled? thats very odd.. i assume thats because their mods to.. and yes solo tanks with 3rd person completely removes their weakness.. you only have to look how vulnerable tanks are with out infantry support in the squad games or even hell let loose
