I think Jay deserves more time in S3. We have been teased time and time again with Jay for like less than a minute…….so Jay having a major villain role or just a major role in general would be awesome because he would definitely have more attention and time on screen rather than just a minute or less than a minute on screen. But I also feel like Cole should help Kai and Nya help find Jay because he’s Jay’s best friend- he has a connection to Jay very much like Kai and Nya do. We also need more information on Jay we were very much robbed of it in S2 P2 sooo yeah

He better be one of the main villains next season. I hope the writers used his 5 minute screentime well to set him up as a bigger villain - shattering his soul, losing to nya; thus holding a grudge against the ninja and having a better reason to go against them, and being abandoned by ras so easily. Maybe he’ll hold these grudges for a while and motivate himself to make a great comeback.

Ok I have a crazy theory, Nya and Sora remember Arakore the Djinn, and the other ninja use their wishes to have a way to find the location of Jay, Arin, and maybe Pixal. The ninja split up into groups to find Arin, Jay, and Pixal. The groups would be having Sora and Lloyd (and possibly Frack) find Arin, Cole and Nya would find Jay, and Zane, Kai, and Wyldfyre would find Pixal.

I don't think the forbidden five will be the main villains in season 3 because we still need to find out the forbidden five elemental powers and doc wyatt said "You will find out but not when you would expect it." That means it may be a while before we get back to the forbidden five and plus we also don't know who are the other three members of the forbidden five are only Nokt and Rox.

They didn't abandon jay it's not there fault that when they we're at the administration the first time they didn't see him because if they saw him they would've grabbed him but given how at every turn they have been fighting left and right and just when the audience thinks the ninja found Jay it's him reappearing and disappearing during something big because in the end they didn't abandon jay Lloyd said they would find him because at the end finding Jay again is on the priority list but when they are getting sidetracked by the villains you can't blame them it's not abandonment it's them trying to keep the realms safe and get the team back

Love the video, if i was in charge this is how i'd do it Episode 1: "A Storm Brewing" Kai and Nya search for a way to reverse Shatterspin’s effects. The ninja receive a warning about a storm over Devonian village, both plots leading to the same place. Flashbacks show Jay’s struggles with memory loss and Ras's manipulation, convincing him that the ninja caused his memory issues. Jay, now consumed by anger and Shatterspin, creates a storm and isolates himself. Episode 2: "Stormy Days Ahead" Sora and Wyldfyre arrogantly scout inside the storm but are soon attacked by storm creatures. The ninja enter the storm with new vehicles, face dangerous weather, and rescue Sora and Wyldfyre, learning to respect their adversary’s power. Episode 3: "A Friend New and Old" Ras manipulates Arin into joining him to find a solution to Shatterspin’s effects. The ninja confront Jay, who, overtaken by hatred, attacks them with the storm. Despite their pleas, Jay rejects them and drives them away. Episode 4: "Storm’s Silver Lining" The ninja debate whether to defeat Jay or save him. Cole, believing in Jay’s redemption, tries to reach him by recalling their past friendship. Cole manages to give Jay fleeting memories but escapes as Jay's darkness resurges, but returning with hope. Episode 5: "Turbulent Alliances" The ninja seek an ancient artifact, “The Gong of Balance,” to help Jay. They encounter Ras and Arin, who also want the artifact. Lloyd tries to convince Arin to reconsider, but Arin remains resolute. The team splits up: Ras and Lloyd search for the Gong, while others face Jay and protect villagers. Episode 6: "Broken Bonds" Nya confronts Jay in the storm’s heart, sharing their past to reach him. Meanwhile, Lloyd and Ras discover that the Gong of Balance is in a dangerous cave, not weaponized but meant for healing. Jay’s anger and the storm intensify as Nya shows her vulnerability, risking her safety to reach him. I don’t know I think that every time we try to theorize that’s he’s supposed to have this major role, we make him out to be more than what he actually is. He isn’t a villain, because although he shattered his soul, he is still just a person with amnesia. They really shouldn’t make him a villain because it’d just be repetitive. Zane lost his memory, became a villain after being corrupted, and then gained his memory as the Ice Emperor. It’s more likely than not that the Forbidden Five are the enemy, as the word “storm” might not mean anything more than fast, as in a fast jet. We already know Season 3 is in a new realm we haven’t seen, likely the desert Arin was in. Who knows, but still a great theory you have!

I partially agree; Jay lost his memory after the Merge, but not to Ras. The flashback during Nya and Jay's battle showcased him sleeping in his cubicle, holding a game console. When some paperwork came his way, Jay fell off of his chair, and the video game hit his head. That's what caused Jay's memory loss.

The suggestion in this video is interesting , but also would be a repeat of Zane when he also lost his memories and was the evil ice emperor. However, it could reflect Jay's broken, mental situation. It might make sense if Lord Ras did openly abandon him with Jay witnessing this betrayal of the master he thought was there for him. Making Jay feel he can't trust anyone anymore, lost , and not taken seriously as an individual. Once everyone seen Part 2 of S2, we will have more discussion's of what Jay's purpose could be judging later figures, sets, and teasers for Spring of season 3. At the end of Part 2, Lord Ras doesn't have many allies or subordinates working for him right now (Forbidden 5 and Wolf army betraying him including Cinder). He might get abandoned by his mysterious evil master because he failed again. He has Arin who is desperate of finding his parents. Who has some potential of fighting like the Ninja but different way. Not sure if Arin will be willing to harm the Ninja or even destroy them. There's a possiblity of Arin and Jay eventually becoming friends/allies due to Ras being the center of it. And Arin being Jay could help him too since he was in the Administration. Lord Ras will either eventually build compassion for them and have them be his trustworthy subordinates or see them as his puppets for his own goals without them knowing.

I really feel like (and hope) that season 3 would be the end of Jay's amnesia arc. Considering how they've rushed things in part 2, shows they are really moving too fast with Jay's character for one reason or another. Also, since we have Arin being an antagonist, it would be too redundant to have two evil ninja. I hope Doc and Kevin know what they're doing with this "evil" ninja stuff.

With Jay I honestly don't know what to expect, when it came out that he worked in the administration we thought that this would have a LOT of weight in the story, when it was leaked about his villainy that he would stay until the end of the tournament, so I don't know what to expect anymore, even Kevin and Doc was the least commented on unless you asked him and his answers don't leave you with much.

If jay is possibly the main villain in dragons rising season three, I would love to see him use his elemental power and shatterspin to maybe create a strong technique. If you think jay doesn't have his power anymore, your wrong. when all powers were returned to their owners, jay might've gotten his power back, we never know. NINJAGO should really start season three off like this: jay is wandering in the wyldness, and he suddenly gains his elemental power back. I would also love to see jay vs cole again because number one, nya vs jay wasn't really interesting, and number two, they are best friends so it would be very different. I also have a theory about Dareth: Dareth is somewhere in the merged realms, he probably has memory loss, but it would be great to see the brown ninja still alive thats all i got

I mean, out of all the ninja it makes the most sense to me as to why they chose Jay specifically. Jay for the longest time has been the least developed. Lately, he’s always been the funny comedic relief, and nothing more. So seeing this new side to him for the first time kind of gives us a breath of fresh air. (Don’t get me wrong, I miss the old Jay but him as a villain has me hypedd)

He makes it sound like Season 3 would have the same plot as Frozen. Elsa and Jay create a storm to isolate themselves from the world. Also, the beginning of Shape of Motion featured the Administration, which Agent Allen said quashes individuality and identity. That means that Jay wouldn't think much of his past until he comes across Master Wu's ghost and flees through the tunnels of the Mysterium Monastery to escape his attempts to restore Jay's memory. If there is some sinister motive behind Jay's actions, it would be to destroy the Ninja (or, more specifically, Nya) to avenge his defeat at the Tournament of Sources. He still believes Ras's lies about the Ninja being his enemies and blames them for Ras dismissing him.

My theory for jay is that he might try to find the dragonian village to try to do lord ras ‘s plans to stop a source dragon as the dragonians may hold the key to finding the source dragons and then might create a storm to rule over the village and then lord ras and the ninja will hear of this and they will both try to find jay and bring him back tot hem but in the end the ninja will find a way to unshatter his goodness and bring his memories back by the end of his arc in season 3 .

This isn’t a jay theory but more of a wu theory that I’m sure someone has already mentioned but I noticed that before and after wu’s ghost appeared. That the four orbs that formed his ghost matched the four gates that are currently active. And there are 16 total. So I’m thinking that pieces of wu’s spirit are scattered across the the merged 16 realms and that once the other 12 are activated. Wu should will be his body back and the truth of the merge will be revealed.

I think Arin will be training during season 3 part 1 while jay handles the ninja and ultimately gets his memories back (and by the way i expect Cole's quest with master wu to be mentioned heavily here, with the ninja confused about the cause of the merge) and also i think Zane is rumoured to be of big focus next season, so maybe he is essential to returning Jay's memories? And then in part 2 arin will be the villain because Lloyd failed to keep his promise of finding Arin's parents, or maybe arin's parents are dead and it's lloyd's master's fault. And Jay will do something to be of major assistance to the ninja because he feels its his fault Arin left them (remember, Arin left them because lord ras 'knows' where his parents are, but so does Jay) and Jay might feel guilty that he couldn't be the one to help Arin. Just my thoughts :)

While I theorized that the Forbidden Five are gonna be the main villains of the next season (and I hope we get figures of them), it is also likely that Jay can be the villain for this season. My Season 3 prediction is that the Ninja go the realm of the Devonians to search for Arin and Ras. At the same time they learn that Jay was kidnapped by the Devonians who want to use his Elemental Powers for evil.
