Watching your performance for several years, even before Shark Racing, there is one item that comes to mind. The most common point at which you are being passed is on the restarts. The top end is fine but on restarts the engine is sluggish, laboring to spool up. Factors affecting acceleration are gear ratio, tire circumference but also camshaft design. Just how much torque you are producing at the lower end of the power band. Yes, it is frustrating chasing the pack but you will get there. Keep it shiny side up.

Good clran race tanner 5th is not bad for an unfamiliar track if you could stay there and run for a couple weeks oll bet the outcome would be differrent ! Keep i roaring and get em at the next track

most of the videos make it seem like you could put a little more gear in it to wind it a little higher and get more pull on the starts and off the corners might just be the sound on the videos. keep pushing forward

Maybe a little lower gear to make it more responsive on restarts. Camshafts and gears help make wins. Good luck!

one thing I notice is at most tracks you raced at, you can get grip coming out of turn 4, so you can catch them, but, coming out of turn 2, your not getting the grip that everyone else is getting so they can keep their distance from you.

Those 360s are all about keeping the car straight and keeping up momentum. I learned that from Jason Martin out of liberal Kansas.

Tanner, the guy that had the real bad night, was the guy driving the sprint car that had the engine blow up. Even a 360 engine is expensive when it blows up.

Reality. It's hard to travel to all these different tracks and compete with the local top racers in any class. They are pro's at that facility. Breaking into the top 5 is really, really good. Going to a new venue night after night makes it almost impossible to get any valuable setup data. Without 20+ years of experience with these tracks you are stuck with a mediocre car almost every night.

It is all about experience in all sports the masters struggle just before they break through for years they show potential but do not get consistent results. Then all of a sudden they are almost unbeatable I have seen this over 50 years of racing myself and watching racing at the top level. When the going gets tough the tough get going the fire never goes out they get frustrated but they always keep improving even if it feels to them like they are going backwards. Never stop putting in the effort to improve and you will improve it is the law of nature.

Hey, did you guys roll through northeastern Wyoming on I90 like on Tuesday of this week? Saw a hauler headed west that looked awful familiar. Yep, 360's all about being smooth and making the track as short as you can.

5th is respectable, except you started 3rd. Good race as far as keeping the car in one piece. But, I’ve been watching you for a long time now. Your competition knows they can jump your starts. That’s the one area y’all need drastic improvement. Keep chugging at it.
