Dear Tanner, there once was a toy,and when I was kid it was quite cool. A ball about the size of a tennis ball, criss Cross with thin ,almost unobserveable wires attached to a battery and step up converter. When you throw it , no shock but on catching it , you would get a real shock! Shaking the ball would also do it. How is it made ?? The inside circuitry of the ball would be quite interesting to me !

Wow! That sounds like a fun toy. I would assume it has a switch that is build using a stationary spring around a wire. When the ball decelerates, the spring bends and touches the wire in the middle, triggering the circuit to shock you.

I think that a new BB 8 motor with a head that will stay fixed while the body revolves should be the next project 😉.
