Martin Clunes is a great character actor. Love him as William in William and Mary. As the sarcastic Reggie in Reggie Perrin . As well as his performance as Doc Martin. He always is entertaining and funny.

I could never understand why they decided to attempt a remake. They could never have succeeded in topping the original; although, there were some hilarious moments in this version. Reggie should have just flew off with Jasmine in this cerebral dustbin
