Alexander and chandragupta maurya never faced eachother as alexander had left india in 325 BCE.before chandragupta maurya came in power. 3. Everything we study today is a based on assumptions made on mentioning of India in Megasthenes’s book Indica and its actual manuscript is almost lost so remains doubtful also.
