One of the most underrated and undiscovered albums of all time. This is Tanya at her best.

Agreed. This was the second of at least three "favorite songs" on the album. I still love it dearly! (First was "So Much Song", third was "Another Moment". This album is absolutely phenomenal!

"My heart's not new. I'm not like you. I've loved and been loved well and badly too." Sooo... usually when people fawn and gush over musicians I openly and sorely mock them but Tanya Donelly has been a musical companion to me from the time that I was a virgin in college to now, married ten plus years and long grown. Her music has a feeling of being extremely personal to herself but at the same time it makes you feel special that she is taking you into her confidence. She's the one musician that I most want to meet but can never meet because I would probably start crying like a baby because her music and lyrics have accompanied me for so many ups and down over the past 30 years. I hope that she loves and is loved well too.

Shame on some of you in the western world. I'm from Asia, I've been listening Tanya Donelly since 90s. Got all of her albums and keep supporting her.

I remember buying this album. I'm older now, and it means different things now.

As is often the case, I'm late to the party since I'm discovering this music in May of 2023. I'm remarrying my wife soon after 20+ years of marriage with lots of ups and downs. This song here gives me mixed emotions, as life in general and certain music tends to do.

This is awesome. For me, 4AD is about discovery-- discovering (what is to me) completely new music, that I so often feel was already inside me to begin with.

I saw BELLY live in 95'. Great show. Tanya was hot with that glittering grey Gibson in her hands.

+David Datura Facebook says she has 2 daughters, a cat and a dog. So who doesn't count as her kid? I'm guessing it's the cat! Love all of her music!
