I am in TANZANIA, and after all my research being here, I learned that TANZANIA is not expat friendly when it comes to obtaining residency. You have to leave the country every 90 days just to come back, there is a 2 year student visa offered, but that is just for 2 years only and when you leave the country every 90 days, you have to pay to go to another country before you are allowed to come back. TANZANIA does not offer permanent residencies, unless you marry a Tanzanian.

Of course if you think of it there is a point for not selling properties to foreigner or diaspora, but also a huge downside of this law. So much money from outside would have been pumped to the economy and boost money circulation. As for the Tanzania- diaspora how much skills, expertise, experiences and even forein money are left out that would have been brought home to support building up the country...but the low doesn't allow them to do so. They are also treated as foreigners. So guys you have got no chance or what so ever to own a property in Tanzania if you don't hold a Tanzanian passport.
