(17 Oct 2013) Tanzanian Prime Minister Mizengo Pinda was in China on Thursday, meeting with Premier Li Keqiang as part of a nine-day visit aimed at boosting economic ties, Tanzanian media reported.
Pinda was welcomed by Li at the Great Hall of the People in China's capital, Beijing.
Pinda's agenda includes meetings with government officials and business leaders from the telecommunications, transport, trade and energy industries.
The trip includes stops in Shenzhen and Guangzhou, in the country's southern province of Guangdong and the capital of the western Sichuan province, Chengdu, according to Tanzanian media.
