lived in uganda for 15 years am..left in 2008 ...am impressed on how far the city has come..it has changed so much i would get lost ..i can hardly recognise the places ...its beautiful its more orderly than in the past,,..things are happening ...uganda is not as bad as ugandans think i think they need to love the country more,they say you never know what you have until its gone

@eddiearts3713 Thank you for this comment. I am Ugandan, and I have always said that as Ugandans, we need to love Uganda. First, it's the irresponsible politicking of some of the leaders, especially opposition and the tribalism, especially from my fellow Baganda, who is seriously harmful to our country.

@@myaafricano person from Buganda can say what you have said... I bet ure not from Buganda and mind you, Buganda is the kingdom that portrays the picture of Uganda to visitors and whoever loves ugandans believe me first enjoys the hospitality of Baganda
@myaafrica3 күн бұрын
@mayanjaandrew256 that is the illusion you my fellows have got. That we as baganda are more important than others and that Buganda itself is more important which of course is a deadly fallacy. I am a muganda, of course, who has lived a fraction of life in Ankole and other places. So, I know what I am talking about. Secondly, my being a Muganda or not should never change what the truth is. The person who started this conversation is not Ugandan, and I am certain, as you said, he drew his conclusions from Buganda and the Ugandans he is referring as well must have been the people he met in the city back then. Why do you want to argue the obvious? Had it been Arua or Ankole, or Mbale, certainly his impression would be different. Do you agree?

Man, Uganda has so much potential. Shame its being led by a fossil. Can you imagine if they got a Moi or Magufuli? They'd be cooking, but instead for now we have a country that cant really advance much for now because M7 and his goons are more interested in stealing money instead of investing more into infrastructure. The highways of Uganda are good, yes, but they Dont have any SGR and the MGR is in a pathetic state with ancient trains and tracks in abysmal condition. You know the old MGR that goes from Dar to Kigoma and is infamous for being terrible? Now imagine that being an entire countries network, and half of it isint even used for cargo or passengers. What a shame.
