Beautifully said - 51 and embracing the same… funnily after watching this I just had a dream where I went to learn from another culture. We were working on glass -etching and it was as if I wasn’t in control at all. The work became a relief pattern of gilded forms. Intricate like shells and leaves.. it was magical.

I'm 59 years old. I've been off of my medication (oxcarbazepine) that treats my Bipolar 2 Disorder for 33 days now. My psychiatrist is aware of it. Oh, yes! When we are in childhood there's sort of an unquestioning belief in the spiritual. I'm 76 now, and after I retired many years ago (50) I've had that rekindled thirst for spiritual knowledge return. This might be a thick headed question, but the dissolution of the ego is one thing. But, after death is there a consciousness that is aware of existence without the ego identification of it? This is one aspect of Daoisim that I've never understood. Maybe you even answered this question but it flew over my head. Anyway thanks Brother and Meyoung for a great talk. The older I get and the more I study, I realize how much I really don't know 😅

Dr Tyson Yunkaporta (an Indigenous Australian) ... - "If you don't move with the land, the land will move you" - "Creation is the constant state of motion and we must move with it or we will damage the system and doom ourselves." Indigenous Australians have been living in Australia for over 60,000 years, and left the Country in pristine condition. We Europeans have been in Australia for 250 years and we have devastated much of the Country ... poisoned water ways, deforested large regions of the country, ripped out huge amounts of soil to get to minerals, and have extinguished thousands of species of fauna and flora.

Born in a Catholic family, raised in this religion, and for 29 years I did not exercise any better judgement. Then at 29 in a very fast process I've lost all the convictions installed in me. Than starting the family followed, being busy with family life I didn't give it much thought. Being at peace with atheism. Then we even spent nearly two years living in India, but I was only superficially interested in the spiritual landscape of the place I was thrown into. Again, never questioning my self discovered convictions of us being just dust in the wind. But 2 years ago at 44 another seismic change happened, being a woman its probably coming with the hormonal side of things. But the last two years have been a time of intense deconstruction, at first it was terrifying. Now I am getting along with the feelings, that do not overcome me with terror anymore. Having read a lot, listened to podcasts, reflected upon the past, I am forging my path everyday with less and less of a need for the prosthetics that the identity was.

Jason would you say, Philosophy, say the likes of Iain McGilchrist or Carl Jung isn't actually as profound as say Lao Tzu's simplicity. These philosophers are very clever at talking but likely very troubled too, in the sense they aren't in the Dao much ? Many thanks

We can get out of that cycle through meditation,just like what buddha gautama have done.He attained enlightment or the great awakening ,and went to a place called nirvana.and he totally out of this birth and death cycle.Everybody have the potential to do that through meditation.

Dejavu might be related to the returning process. In which, you think you dreamed of what’s happening right now but it’s actually an experience of the past. I somehow feel parallel universe might exist, one moves outward and the other returns to the origin. Christopher Nolan ‘s Tenet might be onto something. I believe spiritual seekers walk on the returning channel.

These phylosophies or dharmas evolved from experiencing the supreme being . Even some tribal or indigenous people in Australia America had similar thoughts and practices . China and India are two great civilizations with wisdom. Unfortunately in India centuries of attack and destruction by alien phylosophy took its tole. India still kind of subjugated with colonial education and mind. Only wonder is, after relentless attack on India by British Anglosaxions and Muslims invaders ,which is still on, India's soul is still alive. Soul never dies.

Faith murdered Truth and lied about it. Faith offers many, many, many words, concealing Truth. Truth needs focus and quiet, be still and know that I Am within, personal experience. Mathew 23: 13,14,15. Hypatia " Fables should be taught as fables, myths as myths, miracles as poetic fantasy. To teach superstitions as truth is a most terrible thing " Mathew 7 : 23 those that only have the words of Faith, never personally experienced the God/Self Within. Klein bottle .. 3rd and 4th dimensions. Plato tells us that the prisoners are bound up unable to move their heads, let us examine this bondage via the psychology of Erich Fromm .. socialisation of consciousness .. aware-unaware. Plato tells us that the prisoners mistake shadows for substance, let us examine this mistake via the philosophy of Thales and Kant .. synthetic a priori .. not thing in itself. Words. Plato tells us that one of the prisoners is released, let us examine this release via the instructions given by T.Lobsang Rampa .. stilling the mind - seek first the Kingdom of God/Self Within .. conscious astral travel - leaving the cave/body. Plato tells us that the prisoners will reject this release, let us examine this rejection via the psychological effects of Stockholm syndrome .. Plato quotes Homer " Better to be a poor man, and have a poor master, and endure anything, than to think and live after their manner " Men are not prisoners of fate, but only prisoners of their own minds.
