Bought it at release, by the end of the docking tutorial I was only still playing because I could map skip space jank, but by the time I got to "Oil Rig" world I was done & quit. The PG worlds ruined exploration for me & after I quit, though this time I expected it, Bethesda again added an "In-Game Cash Shop" AFTER releasing the game without that crap. Until 2017 I was the most active user support for MO, but when BGS added the CC, I quit modding BGS games until SSE & F4 released on GOG, where SPG Cash Shops are banned. If I do try to mod this (I prefer Fantasy to SF) it must first releases on GOG, but as with every BGS game, I mod them to play modded quest content & ignore vanilla BGS quests.

What this game really needs is a mod that fixes the disconnect between what your eyes are seeing and what your scanner is telling you what the temperature is . I landed on a planet with obvious tropical growth , and my scanner tells me that it's -12 . I land on another planet that's covered in ice and snow and it tells me that it's 2° warmer than that . I only had to do it once , but one time they sent me to a planet for a temple . And the temperature was just under +300 above . I got about 20 feet from my ship and died . So I reloaded my save turned on God mode and completed it .

I use POI Variation and Density mod. It makes a huge difference, in my opinion. The POIs themselves don'ts really change but the occupants and items inside do. A location with only CF will now spawn with CF, Ecliptic or Varrun. I find it very fun.

I am using the conversation mod and heard a conversation between Barrett and Sarah about Aja and her talk with Barrett after Ervin died. I had never heard that content before and it was very moving.

I have recently begun using Creation Mods for Starfield on my PC. I am currently only using achievement friendly mods. I am really loving the combination of McClarence Outfitters and the Legendary Vendors mod! Was finally able to get Sentinel on my McCLarence outfitters Space suit, since I tend to not be the best at moving out of the way of enemy fire... LOL. Also the Starfield Spacer Overhaul is well worth the money. I have gotten some unique looking loot from them. I really want an Achievement Friendly POI Randomizer and Void Spawn Anywhere to the game.

Hope you don't mind if I solicit a mod here but I feel your channel is a go to hub in the community for straight SF news and it would have a good chance of getting seen here. I'm looking for an Iron Man mod.. like, am I the only one? I'm thinking a suit that features both infinite boost AND thrust like a vehicle would. That would ofc be optmal but I'd settle for just the suit. I'd be willing to pay for it! This solicitation relates to your question "what are you doing in SF" - I'm on my third "fresh" playthrough and it has turned out to be my favorite. First was a Ronin - a masterless wondering chaotic-good mercenary. Second playthrough leaned into Constellation and being an explorer. Fitting with my mod request, this third playthrough is a Tony Stark - billionaire, playboy, philanthropist - playthrough.. the IM suit is all I'm missing 😄 I"ve built elaborate supply/mining/manufacturing networks and facilities. I'm using Wykkyd Gaming's excellent Darkstar Manufacturing as my "Stark Industries" analog. I've got several decked out mansions and penthouses, including a beachfront HQ/LAB/SHIPYARD on Jemison etc.. EPIC ships.. running all the best clothing and customization mods, Dynamic Universe dozens of other creations including Polyamory - why choose when you're Tony Freaking Stark! I've created a cool little world ngl.. so much fun to build IMO.

The Deep Scan Mod Order Troubleshooting needs its own video as a troubleshooting video. Many of us from time to time has issues with mods conflicting in load order and causing game issues. An actually I’m currently having an issue with a mod that’s crashing my game every time I try to go to warp. As of yet, I haven’t figured out what mod it is.

That’s a good idea! I would need a crashing load order to troubleshoot. Maybe the next time that happens I will take note and try to capture the details.

@RichardBejtlich Not a fan of halo... Never have been, and never will to be honest cause I just don't find those games exciting. Doom armor is alright, but I'm a mid fan of doom. I want more space armor made by Bethesda. Something more alien or hybrid like similar to what they have in star citizen.
