Is is recommended for good quality sound quality? I bought a cheap adapter for my car that allows a2dp music streaming, but it has some slight crackle and overall reduction in SQ versus the wired aux. Do you think this sound better through the aux jack but with the phone still running BT to keep it wireless (more for auto-pause on turning the car off) thanks to BT 5.0 and aptX?

Supposedly you can pair 2 of these together, do you think it would be good enough for a low-cost wireless lavalier setup? Since actual wireless lavaliers are quite expensive.

Thanks, got mine today and it works awesome. I had trouble pairing to start with. The second time I removed the 3.5mm and the charge cable and it was fine. Almost no lag through cheap soundpeats buds. EDIT. I did notice that if you are charging through your pc usb while listening you get light static. This goes if you use a proper wall charger.

debating between this and the airflys as this looks a bit better battery life and is cheaper in comparison, also looks a bit more the color of my radio scanner which I plan to use it with.

I have this and in general it's great for watching tv. The only thing I'm getting is when there are quiet periods, not much background sound or no talking, and my bluetooth ear buds seem to shut off. I'm not sure whether this is a problem with the buds or the the transmitter. Perhaps it's a battery saving thing, where it may be detecting a break in the sound and it shuts off to conserve battery life. In any event it's annoying.

Thanks for the video, Andy! Would you know how to connect it to the Bose Bluetooth Speakers coz when I use the Bose App to Connect, it is asking to select the Bose Headphones which is obviously not possible with Taotronics.

Great video Andy, and I completely agree with Rem Nant... Well done mate! I have a couple questions, 1.) I heard of other units having to be unplugged when not in use in order to listen to TV regularly. Have you had any issues with this, or does the transmitter automatically default to the Tele sound while not in use? 2) I assume the unit charges through the TV usb port? Can this unit stay plugged in to the usb (both while in use and when not in use) to avoid losing charge, or do you think this would over work or damage the transmitter? Once again thank you for this review. ATB

Unfortunately I've not used this unit on some time as it eventually stopped working, so I don't recall the answers you need. If you can find the newer video for the one I use this year, I leave it plugged in via USB all the time.

I couldn't be sure, but usually you just put both in pairing mode and wait for them to find each other.

Yeah, it should do, just put it in receiving mode and plug your headphones into it.

I bought this device hoping I would be able to use it on my television as I have noisy neighbours I bought myself a pair of bluetooth headphones Sony wh-1000xm3 for some reason I'm having great difficulty of connecting the device to my headphones can you give any advice please for me to resolve this issue be very much appreciated

Put them both in pairing and wait. Make sure no other devices are trying to pair to either the unit or the headset.

I just got this today. 3 of my headphones/earbuds connect to it. But no sound gets transmitted to any of them. I'm pulling my hair out over here. TV has many sound settings, but nothing works.

@@AAUK Correct. Via RCA, my 1080p TV connects fine. But my 4K TV must need a transmitter with an optical output. 4K TV does have an RCA output, but no headphone jack.

Late to the party but oh well. This transceiver uses Qualcomm's aptX LL codec, which isn't present in your headphones because Sony uses their own LDAC codec for low latency applications. I'm guessing your's have aptX HD, which of course won't work with aptX LL. I have Sennheiser Momentum Wireless headphones which use aptX LL and can confirm there is no lag at all.

It's a fairly universal thing that you would just hold the power down until the item goes into pairing mode...
