Absolutely beautiful! You are the only person I know who has LEFT handed Whitworth Taps!!!!!!

I think my favorite in this group was the No.13 - the one with the arsenic. Really does give it a nice looking finish. Who would know that some hand tools have the possibility of doing you in. Seen a review the other day of a copper/beryllium ball peen hammer. Beryllium is very toxic. I know on the hammer it is inert but I wonder if repeated use might expose you to some fragments off the hammer. I would think the chances of that happening are very slim but who knows. I like to tear down old microwave ovens for parts and on the magnetron there is a ceramic looking ring. That's beryllium and as long as you don't break it up you'll be okay. But if you should smash it up you don't want to inhale that dust. It's a carcinogen and causes lesions on the lungs. I noticed on a lot of the older tap and die sets, they have a strange looking design compared to newer sets. Interesting to see the changes over time. Thanks Reg. Looking forward to the other videos.

It would be nice to see a tour of all your sets. Obviously it is winter now, but if they were laid all outside somewhere in the sunshine with a sort of fitting background, I’ll bet you they all look fantastic

You seem to be well informed on all these sets. My father left me a 64 piece BluePoint tap n die , set # 9900E, NC/NF. Would you have a year it was possibly from or any info about it and worth possibly. Thx

I wouldn’t say I was an expert, I just research the sets I have, I’m just a collector. I think Blue Point is before snap on .

@@Reggyontheroad yes it is Its a very nice set. Box is immaculate. All pieces are there, couple dies replaced. I’ve reached out to quite a few places for some information and I’m running out of luck.
