Tap Dance TAP-torial: Learn a CROSSING & UNCROSSING RIFFS Exercise

Hey Everyone, come learn how to tap dance with me, Shelby Kaufman!
This is a part of my 'Center Floor' Exercise Series, consisting of short combinations to be done without traveling, in the center of the dance space. In this tap dance tutorial (TAP-torial) I will be teaching a center floor paddle 'n' roll exercise that includes crossing and uncrossing 3 sound riffs. Thanks, Shelby! Part 2 of this was halves, and then again with the change in rhythm?

+emNem3662 this part is 2 sets of 8, then halves (4 counts each) that take up 1 set of 8, then the full one in all 16th notes and the stamp ending...

It's not important to keep the heel up on the leap is it? Since the first thing you do with that foot is a step, which you could do with either the heel up or down.

Ideally you would try to keep the heel up because there shouldn't be a flat footed sound on the leap.
