Wow! I have been searching high and low for a video like this. I am find that my wefts were becoming difficult to hide with the traditional sandwich method. I am installing mine today and can't wait to try this method.

okay i love this. thank you so much. i’ve been getting tapes for a year and getting ready to try them myself at home but i love how you’re able to hide the weft. my hair is fine & thin & i think this will be a great method.

Great video! I saw someone do this then realized the video was 9 years old 🤣 so glad to see people are still doing it.. I'm going to try it!! And wow your kid came in and didn't even disturb you! What a treasure! 🥰

I used to do this exact method - with skin wefts! You did a great job. I sew in my Moresoo wefts now on a beaded track. Was getting tired of the cleanup after taking the tapes out. Lol. It really is so easy though and undetectable. Thanks for posting.

I haven't tried sew-in yet, you do it yourself??
@clipinqueen3 жыл бұрын
@@vjhooper08 Yes, I do sew them in myself. It's quite easy for me now, but I almost gave up after the first attempt! Lol. I like it because I can take it out faster and I don't have to remove adhesive from my wefts. I try to hang onto hair like Moresoo since it wears so nicely.

This is good. I thought about it but worried it would rip my hair. I see it now being less damaging

Is it real hair, and with tape on both sides? Thanks for the info!

Hello from Bordeaux in France ☺️ .thank you for your share. Could you tell me what product do you use to remove them properly ? Have you noticed some damage in your own hair ? Thanks for your answeres😉👍😘

Hi there! I use Walker C-22 solvent and I’ve found that if I spray it right on the tape (on both sides,) and let it sit for a few minutes, then gently rub the weft and slide it out of my hair, it comes off easily. When I’ve been impatient and tried to rush it, I’ve felt more pulling on my hair and had slight tangles afterwards. I’ve also used olive oil and coconut oil and this method takes more time, but is a natural/chemical free option. I always wash thoroughly and condition well afterwards.

Hi! I just came across your video and wanted to reach out to see if you still do this method. I want to try it because I have thinning hair but the glue will be unprotected on the outside and I’m trying to discern what the cons are. Maybe that they might not last as long as if they were traditional sandwiched?
@vjhooper084 ай бұрын
@@Jchiocha sorry for the late response, yes I still do this method and also have thin/fine hair. For the glue/tape on the outside, if you really press your hair into it you won’t be able to see it, even with thinner hair. It’s really important to not wash for at least 3 days after though, that’s key for them to stay in! I find that they stay in just as long as the regular sandwich method.

Thank you so much for the response! I’m new to tape ins and doing all the research. Your video was the only one I came across mentioning this genius method! I can’t believe more people don’t do it this way! Going to try this. Thank for your video! ❤

Great tutorial, thank you! Can you advise which double sided tape you use please? Assume it stays put and doesn’t slip for the whole 6 weeks? Want to try this with my clip ins :)

Ignore I have just seen in previous comment 😊

Here’s the link, just in case! Also, in order for it to stay put for 6 weeks, don’t wash your hair for 3 days after installing. www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00F20WDP8/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_12?smid=A1ACHZR6OMO3IO&psc=1

I tried that way, but the extension tape got sticky every time I washed my hair, but it is less noticeable.
@vjhooper082 жыл бұрын
Try making sure that all of the tape is covered with hair, I press my hair onto the tape until I can’t feel any stickiness anymore. Wait at least 3 days before washing, and make sure to thoroughly dry the tape portion with a blow dryer afterwards. Hope this helps!

That looks great! How long did they stay in? Thx.

About 6 weeks! One important tip is to not wash your hair for at least 3 days after putting them in!

Does this cause more tangles ??

Not in my experience! And it causes less hair loss by putting less stress on sections of hair
