Hi Fred I only use cutting fluid when I need to improve the finish or to cool the cutting edge when removing lots of material.

I'm intrigued by that thread indicator. Those letters aren't evenly spaced. This is quite different from a fractional (American) thread dial. Could you make a video on that? ... I just browsed through your videos and found out it's home made! I'll go and have a look then!
