OMG YOU EVEN INCLUDED A RANDOM PRESET LOADER BUTTON!!! 🎲🙌 Makes it possible to be surprised and discover presets in a non-A-Z way. I also like how you arranged all the UI controls in a single-window, no-menu-diving layout, which is spacious but not wasteful - easier to navigate than others. And what tasty art too, the designs for each of the cassette styles are so adorable!

Also I noticed that 🎲button isn't called out in the features nor manual... I recommend emphasizing it (as obvious as it may seem after you've used it), because it adds so much value!

This video was filmed a while back using an older beta version of the plugin. The tape animation correctly goes from left to right in the released version of the plugin on our website :) You can check out the free 14 day fully functioning demo.

Sounds pretty realistic. I can't help thinking it would be even more realistic to just use a cassette deck though ? edit : great music though loved it.

Not really, since you cannot really recreate many different types of cassette decks and tapes with a cassette deck (unless you have several units and several tapes), nor have control over the degradation amount / Wow /Flutter on the fly, nor use it on each individual track within a mix like in the video above, recall it, push it further, take it to new territory for lo-fi effects etc :) You also get a very accurate model of the Shure Level loc limiter / compressor, which is a beast on drums for character and punch. Feel free to give the 14 day demo a try :) P.S. Glad you like the music. It was nice to get some really good musicians playing with this and vibing together!

@@wave-alchemy I understand your points, and yes agreed, for the most flexibility in recreating the different types of tape sounds this does seem a really good plug-in. Nothing will ever totally recreate analogue tape sound, but this is a very good close second sir.

@@DjNikGnashers Yes, hands on control with physical knobs / buttons is nice (I own a ton of outboard analogue gear myself), but definitely the flexibility and additional controls are welcome in plugin form. Thanks!

I agree with you completely! Especially, the drop effect can not be repeated (prolapse or... don’t know how it’s called in English).
