Taping and waterproofing cement board for shower wall

Using thinset and cement board mesh tape to fill all the screw holes and gaps in between cement board joints. Then applying two layers of mapei aqua defense waterproofing to the walls in preparation for tiling.

That’s not waterproof. You need about 4 more layers of Māpei using that roller
