Taping Practice with Marshalltown New Banjo

Drywall finishing using the Marshalltown Banjo. Just practicing, using this banjo on the last room of the house I was working on.

He runs a banjo well ,but as a guy who did the same thing for a few years .I can tell you it’s not the same as using a bazooka . This is back breaking ,it’s too hard on the knees and back over time . I own five bazookas now and would never go back to this . I still use the banjo the odd time if I have to work off scaffolding or a scissor lift , because if it happens to get dropped I’m not out $1500

Im learning with the banjo now(always taped everything by hand) one problem im having is it takes so much effort to pull the tape out. Is it because my mud isnt loose enough?

I just saw this. Cool tool for sheet rock projects. What is it called, the ones for your feet to reach high ceilings? 🤔 I remember back in 60's tall people using those at Six Flags for entertainment purposes. why not wipe the buts and flats then tape angles... and that is way slower then a super taper and a gut pail. that thing needs a bigger mud capacity

because it's a process when you have speed ....so once that section is complete then you move to the next task which would be wiping down.....but doing flats then wiping and then picking the banjo back up to do corners in the same section is moving backwards plus the compound was mixed properly so he had enough time to finish desired area so why not

I do wipe down. I always got a guy wipes down. He was the one taken the video. It was small room. Thats why i tape it. I tape it all. I do not have a problem wiping it down like that when its something small
