Today we are exploring the attractions in and around Dehradun. We hired a rented scooty for the day and began our journey. First we visted Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple and offered our prayers. Then we headed to the famous Forest Research Institute (FRI). The place is a must visit and has some amazing piece of architecture. Next we headed to Sahastradhara, meaning 100 streams. This place is popular for its river stream having medicinal properties. People take bath in the makeshift pools created by the locals here. After this we headed to Buddha Park and Mindrolling Monestery. Both the places are beside each other. The place gives you peace of mind and the serene environment will definetly take away all the stress from you. After spending a couple of hours we headed home and on the way stopped over at Paltan Bazaar. Later we had dinner at Udupi Cafe and called it a day!
