What's sad about the December to Dismember match was that Heyman actually WANTED Punk to win the match and the title because he knew Punk was the rising star and was quickly becoming the new face of ECW. I initially didn't like Punk for how he would constantly retain his title against John Cena using underhanded tactics and always cheating to win. However, after looking back at the PipeBomb, and his old ECW days, my perception of him changed. Back when he was in ECW, I liked everything about Punk, from his attire to entrance theme. He soon became one of my favourite wrestlers ever after his match with Brock Lesnar, which is my favourite match ever. CM Punk is a legend, and is also an inspiration to me, and is the reason why I watch AEW weekly. CM Punk who the first person who made me believe that I can be "The Best In The World".

The thing about Punk's heel turn on The Rock, that entire full heel turn could've been easily avoided. They should've just placed him in the same position back in 2011 where he blurred the lines of face and heel. That way he can keep his white hot run and still have his reasons to feud with The Rock (stars getting undeserved opportunities). It was pretty obvious they just wanted to squash his run. WM29 should've been a triple threat match between Punk v Cena v Rock. That way they can one up WM28 and not just do a repeat and devalue the "once in a lifetime" match promo. They just really had it against Punk.

His wwe career had highs and lows and could have been way better after his return from a break should have won the rumble but still a successful career.
