Houston is my birth home. I live there for 38 years. I move to Atlanta in 1995 because of the oil&gas and real estate crash in Texas. I got an awesome job in Atlanta. I got use to the largest Airport in the world, snow, a heavy rail public transit system that took me anywhere I want to go in Atlanta, and the awesome black culture. It was all awesome for me. I swore I would never leave Atlanta. Then came the 2008 recession. Damn. Lost my job and didn't know what I was going to do. living with someone was not an option for me. So I heard Texas economy was doing better than Atlanta. So I decided to go back to Texas something I really didn't want to do. I pick Dallas because of less humidity, snow, DART Rail, and American Airlines. Yes, Houston is my home and every time I go there I won't stay there long because of the humidity, traffic, mosquitoes. Dallas is a good decision for me.

@@charischristodoulou5643 there has been a number of buildings built since then. and Texas A&M is building a campus with a few high rises and skyscrapers by the medical center which will add another skyline to the city. There's a lot of new things coming to the city in the coming years
