I only found you 3 days ago. I am very familiar with EFT, but you take this to another level! I am amazed that the subjects that you offer all seem to be so suitable for me. And to top that - what you say in the sessions also fit me perfectly. I don’t usually like scripts and prefer 1-1 sessions however - yours are amazing. Thank you so much for sharing with everyone. You are a guardian angel !! ❤❤.

Hi Judy! It's great to meet you and I'm so happy that my Tapping sessions fit you perfectly. I hear this a lot and think it's because of all the work I've done listening to the different parts of myself, plus Tapping with clients for over 13 years. It would be an honor to support you in 1:1 session too, if you're interested. With love, Jennifer

Hi Mariska! Crying, shaking and yawning are very normal during EFT Tapping. It means that your nervous system is effectively releasing the stuck energy from your body. How did you feel by the end of the session? Usually after such a powerful release, one feels calm and spacious. Congratulations on going deep in your healing.

Is it normal to start feeling dizzy and disassociated during this session like I'm repeating the words but I can't feel them (safety)? I also cried and it was difficult to take the deep breaths with you. Towards the end I started to feel a bit angry too, like I wanted to fight back or tell you "what do you know!" I'm also left with feeling of wanting to cry more but I'm also on my period and had a very bad pms, so I'm vulnerable anyway. I'm grateful to you for covering such important subjects! I'm curious how you would comment on what I experienced during this little session.
@jenniferharmonyАй бұрын
My understanding is that a 'part' of you believes it's dangerous to say 'I'm safe'. It disagrees with the idea and things that things will get worse if you let yourself believe it's safe. If I'm right, this part needs compassion and patience. I'd say the physical feelings are connected to this too. This is something which can be worked on in a 1:1 session.

Thanks for this. just wondering your thoughts on the brain/body connection- there are a lot of theories suggesting trauma is stored in the body (as well), and therefore something like tapping won't help. or could it be the brain is the main driver for the body.. I guess if tapping causes a release then it must be working?
@jenniferharmony Жыл бұрын
Good question! I do indeed believe that trauma is indeed stored in the body (there's A LOT of scientific evidence to back this up - check out both Dr Gabor Mate and Dr Peter Levine's work). Tapping is a somatic therapy, and it very much works with the body - you're physically Tapping on the body! In my 13 years of experience it's the perfect modality which clears trauma from both the brain and body! Keep using it and trying it on different topics to experience the results for yourself!

@jenniferharmony5 ай бұрын
I hear you, Ana. Many people dislike saying the negative statements, especially those who are use to using affirmations. However, an essential part of EFT Tapping is bringing acceptance and love to the so-called 'negative' statements. It's necessary to acknowledge the 'negative' thoughts in your mind in order to heal them. Having used this technique for 15 years, I have seen huge transformations in both clients and myself. There's also a growing body of scientific research behind EFT Tapping. I wish you well on your journey.

Do you think this video will still work if our system has decided that feeling safe isn’t safe?
@jenniferharmony5 ай бұрын
Rate the intensity of the statement "I feel unsafe" (or something similar) on a scale of 1-10 at the start of the video. Then after the video, rate the same statement 1-10. That way you'll see if it worked or not. But yes, it can still work even if your system's decided that.

Ok interesting. Thank you. I just recently learnt that feeling safe can feel unsafe, so I’ve been geeking out about the nuances a little and trying to figure it out 🙂

@jessicaburgers3 ай бұрын
Do you read this?
@jenniferharmony3 ай бұрын
When I learned Tapping 14 years ago we used a more thorough sequence than the one now popularized by the ortners/Tapping Solution. It also includes the finger points which you'll see in my early videos and I still use those points with my clients. If you look on my channel for 'eft tapping points' you'll find a video of my sequence. But you can just as easily copy along. I prefer this more complete Tapping sequence. I like the extra points. But that's just a personal preference, I believe both Tapping sequences work just as well. I don't understand what you mean by "on pols", so I can't answer that. I like beginning on the back side of the hand, which is a 'psychological reversal' point in the meridian system. I also like starting with a simpler set-up statement, which I don't repeat several times. I also find this to be just as effective. There's no 'right' way to do EFT. For me, much more important is that we're acknowledging the 'negative', feeling our feelings, bringing acceptance and feeling compassion for ourselves. Does that help?
